SIDE - TERMS OF USE

The website https://side.xyz/ is published by Side.xyz, a company incorporated under the laws of the British Virgin Islands, having its registered office located at Intershore Chambers, PO Box 4342, Road Town, Tortola, VG1110, British Virgin Islands.

Side.xyz offers multiple solutions designed to drive growth and engagement for Web3 projects and individual users. These solutions are described as follows:

Community Engagement Solution

This solution allows projects to engage their communities and external contributors in creating high-quality content, which simultaneously generates value and attracts new users. In exchange, both community members and external contributors are rewarded with project tokens based on the quantity and quality of the content produced.

On-Chain Behavior Reward Tool

This tool automatically rewards users based on specific on-chain behaviors, such as holding a certain amount of tokens for a set period, achieving the highest trading volume, providing the most liquidity, or maintaining the longest buying streak. The tool is customizable, allowing projects to tailor rewards to their specific needs, fostering long-term community loyalty.

Staking Feature

A pre-built staking solution enables projects to offer staking opportunities, allowing users to earn an annual percentage yield (APY) by holding project tokens. This feature incentivizes deeper engagement by offering financial rewards and encouraging sustained support for the project.

Side.xyz provides these services for Web3 projects and individual users seeking to enhance community engagement and support project growth.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use ("ToU") govern the conditions under which users ("Users") may access and use the Platform. The ToU constitutes a binding contract between each user of the Platform (including Projects and individual Users) and Side.xyz. Access to the Platform is conditional upon Users' acceptance of these ToU. By merely browsing the Platform, Users are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the ToU. Furthermore, by connecting their X or Discord accounts, or upon each new account connection, Users explicitly agree to the ToU as indicated in the connection pop-up.

Side.xyz reserves the right to modify these ToU at any time. When a new version is uploaded, Users will be required to accept the updated ToU to continue accessing the Platform's services.

2. Definitions

The following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:

Users: Individuals participating in one or more campaigns and permitted to create content for the project.

Projects: Entities or individuals who create campaigns and issue rewards to participants.

Campaign: A campaign created by a Project, allowing Users to earn rewards by creating content.

Side Score: A variable influencing the User's eligibility to receive rewards in a campaign, acting as a performance boost.

Community: A group of Users participating in campaigns for the same project.

3. Services

Side.xyz offers various services to Users based on their roles and the nature of their participation.

3.1 User Services

Users have access to the following services:

  • Profile editing and homepage access.
  • Access to campaigns, including those that may be token-gated.
  • Staking opportunities to earn APY on their $SIDE or SIDE $LP tokens.
  • Educational resources via the Side bootcamp.
  • Tracking of earnings per campaign and overall performance.
3.2 Project Services

Projects have access to the following services:

  • Profile editing and homepage access.
  • Creation and management of campaigns.
  • Campaign statistics and leaderboard access.
  • Access to user data for their campaigns.

Projects can customize campaigns by specifying rewards, mission descriptions, social media links, campaign goals, and token-gating status.

4. Registration

Access to the Platform is restricted to Users who connect through their X account or via wallet authentication. Users are solely responsible for the protection and confidentiality of their login credentials.

Users can register on the Platform by:

  • Using an invitation code from another user, or;
  • Directly registering themselves.

By registering, Users grant Side.xyz and any relevant subcontractors a worldwide license to host, copy, use, transmit, and display User data necessary to provide the services under the ToU.

5. User Obligations

Users commit to complying with these ToU and applicable laws, including the protection of third-party rights. Users must refrain from:

  • Sharing third-party personal information without consent.
  • Uploading or distributing illegal content, including defamatory, offensive, or morally objectionable material.
  • Using the Platform for harassment or promoting illegal activities.

Side.xyz reserves the right to suspend or ban Users who violate these obligations after notification.
